Today is my birthday! 🥳
I’ll be honest, for years, birthdays just made me feel sad and lonely.
Then last year, everything changed.
May 13, 2024:
* I recently got engaged to Jon (5 months after we met!)
* I was newly pregnant (just found out May 5th)
* I announced it to my family on Mother’s Day, the day before.
* I spent my birthday excited (and nervous) by how much was about to shift
And now, here I am a year later, celebrating with my husband and 6-month-old son (and even my parents visiting from California)!
Today, all I feel is pure gratitude.
I’m grateful I met my husband.
I’m grateful we were surprised with our bundle of everything, little dude.
I’m grateful my business has allowed us to build a family dynamic that’s uniquely ours.
And here’s the thing – YOU all are part of making that happen.
This business, these connections, this work we do together – it didn’t just give me professional success.
It gave me the flexibility to design a life I love.
To work from home with my son.
To set my own schedule around what matters most.
To build something that serves others while supporting my family.
And to have the flexibility where my husband can stay home with our son instead of sending him to daycare
