You’re avoiding LinkedIn (this might be why) + a 30 day transformation!

I was talking with a prospect the other day, and she brought up something I hear often:

“I know I need to be more active on LinkedIn, but I just can’t get started.”

Now, most people think it’s about not knowing what to post or being camera-shy.

But after working with hundreds of clients, I’ve discovered one major starting point that gets overlooked:

You’re not proud of your profile.

The Hidden Barrier

A huge part of getting started on LinkedIn is making sure your profile actually represents YOU.

Not the corporate version of you from 3 years ago. Not the “professional” persona you think LinkedIn wants.

YOU. Today. As you are.

Here’s a simple test to see if your profile needs work:

You know how companies ask “How likely are you to refer this organization to a friend?”
Well, what’s YOUR score?

How referable are you based on your profile alone?
Does it show who you are and how badass you are at what you do?

If that answer makes you cringe, that’s a starting point worth addressing.

Your profile is your foundation.

If it doesn’t represent your values, your mission, who you are as a human (not just a professional), you’re going to feel disconnected every time you post.

It’s like trying to laugh at jokes you don’t find funny.
Technically possible, but incredibly uncomfortable.

The 30 Day Transformation

I just helped a client, Janelle, completely overhaul her profile.

When we got on our follow-up call, she let out a giant gasp.

“I’ve showing my LinkedIn profile to everybody who has 2 eyes to see.”

She went from military conditioning – “going from military minded to where we wouldn’t do those kind of things to being able to be our authentic selves” – to feeling completely empowered.

“I feel empowered to go out there as a business professional and market my business, market my services,” she told me.

The transformation wasn’t just about her profile. It was about her entire approach to showing up:

→ She made her first selfie
→ She’s elevating her client interactions
→ She feels confident marketing her business professionally

“I have grown tenfold since I’ve started working with you,” she told me.

This is what happens when someone finally has a profile they’re proud of – they don’t just feel confident online, they feel confident in every aspect of their business.

And the best part? We’ve only just got started!

Why This Matters

We often suffer from impostor syndrome – not seeing ourselves the way others see us.

What feels like bragging to you might just be stating facts to someone else.

If you’re coming from corporate, this is especially important.

That buttoned-up, play-it-safe LinkedIn presence?

It might have served you then, but it’s not serving you now.

Your audience wants to work with a human, not a corporate robot.

They want to see your personality, your values, your unique perspective.

Getting Started

Before you worry about what to post or how often to engage, consider these elements:

— Your banner is prime real estate – a giant billboard where you can shout “Hey, I do this! Is that you?!”

— Your headline follows you everywhere on LinkedIn. Every connection request, every comment. Is it intriguing enough that someone will want to check out your page?

— Your branding should be consistent with your company and website. Or at minimum, consistent throughout your own profile.

— Your about section needs to speak directly to your ideal client. If it’s still written like a president’s biography, we’ve got some work to do.

Want to dive deeper into all of this? I’ve got the best profile guide for you.

If you’re ready to transform your profile into something you’re genuinely proud of…it’s time we talked. I’ve got the perfect program for you.

Bye for now!

Natasha

P.S. Something Janelle said really hit me: “My attorney says ‘nobody cares about your work as much as you do.’ That doesn’t apply to you.”

She was saying I DO care about her work as much as she does. And it’s true.

When you’re inside a pickle jar, you can’t read the label on the outside – sometimes you need someone who genuinely cares to help you see what you can’t see yourself.

That’s the kind of partnership that creates real transformation.

And that’s exactly what you get when you work with me – someone who’s as invested in your success as you are!
